IPC::PrettyPipe::Queue - A simple queue

SYNOPSIS

  $q = IPC::PrettyPipe::Queue->new;

  $q->push( $elem );

  $elements = $q->elements;
  $is_q_empty = $q->empty;

DESCRIPTION

This module provides a simple queue for objects which perform the IPC::PrettyPipe::Queue::Element role. No object should be in more than one queue at a time.

METHODS

The following methods are available:

new
  $q = IPC::PrettyPipe::Queue->new;

Construct an empty queue.

push
  $q->push( $element );

Push the element on the end of the queue. The element must perform the IPC::PrettyPipe::Queue::Element role.

empty
  $is_q_empty = $q->empty;

Returns true if there are no elements in the queue.

elements
  $elements = $q->elements;

Returns an arrayref containing the queue's elements.

nelements
  $nelements = $q->nelements;

Returns the number of elements in the queue.
