    # prints the equivalent Persian date of the given Julian date

    # prints the equivalent Persian date of the Gregorian date.
    print $date->from_gregorian(2015, 6, 25), "\n";

    # prints day of the week index (0 for Yekshanbeh, 1 for Doshanbehl and so on.

METHODS

to_julian()

Returns julian date equivalent of the Bahai date.

from_julian($julian_date)

Returns Persian date as an object of type Date::Persian::Simple equivalent of the Julian date $julian_date.

to_gregorian()

Returns gregorian date as list (yyyy,mm,dd) equivalent of the Persian date.

from_gregorian($year, $month, $day)

Returns Persian date as an object of type Date::Persian::Simple equivalent of the given Gregorian date $year, $month and $day.

day_of_week()

Returns day of the week, starting 0 for Yekshanbeh, 1 for Doshanbehl and so on.
