NAME

diffdir - Compares two or more directories for files that differ

VERSION

This documentation refers to diffdir version 0.9.

SYNOPSIS

   diffdir [option] dir1 dir2 [dir3 ...]

 OPTIONS:
  -e --exclude[=]re
                Elclude any file or directory that matches this regular
                expression
  -s --script   Produce a script of actions
  -c --command[=]string
                The diff command you wish to use for viewing the
                differences in the files
  -m --cp-missing Create a copy statement for missing files rather than
                telling which directory it was missing from
  -r --remove-extra
                Remove extra files
  -S --same-files
                Show the same files instead of different files
  -j --join     Combines the file into a thrid based on the original directory names.
  -f --follow   Follow symlinks directories and diff symlink files.
     --no-follow
                Don't follow symlinked directories or diff symlinked files.
  -F --fast     Use file sizees to tell if files are different
  -b --ignore-space-change
                Ignore changes in the amount of white space.
  -w --ignore-all-space
                Ignore all white space.
  -d --missing-dirs
                Create directories that are missing (makes copying of missing files simpler)
  -E --exec     Show all diff action in one line

  -v --verbose  Show more detailed option
     --VERSION  Prints the version information
     --help     Prints this help information
     --man      Prints the full documentation for diffdir
