Perl::ToPerl6::Transformer::Variables::RewriteMatchVariables - Renumber match variables
This Transformer is part of the core Perl::ToPerl6 distribution.
Perl6 renumbers match variables so that they start at $0. If you're wondering what happened to $0, it's now $*PROGRAM-NAME:
$0
$*PROGRAM-NAME
$1 --> $0 $2 --> $1 $99 --> $98
Transforms match values outside of comments, heredocs, strings and POD.
This Transformer is not configurable except for the standard options.
