NAME

Math::NumSeq::DigitSumSquares -- sum of digits

SYNOPSIS

 use Math::NumSeq::DigitSumSquares;
 my $seq = Math::NumSeq::DigitSumSquares->new (radix => 10);
 my ($i, $value) = $seq->next;

DESCRIPTION

The sum of squares of digits in each i, so 0, 1, 4, 9, 16, ..., 81, 1, 2, 5, 10, .., etc. For example at i=123 the value is 1*1+2*2+3*3=14.

FUNCTIONS

See "FUNCTIONS" in Math::NumSeq for behaviour common to all sequence classes.

$seq = Math::NumSeq::DigitSumSquares->new ()
$seq = Math::NumSeq::DigitSumSquares->new (radix => $r)

Create and return a new sequence object. The default radix is 10, ie. decimal, or a radix parameter can be given.

$value = $seq->ith($i)

Return the sum of the digits of $i.

$bool = $seq->pred($value)

Return true if $value occurs as the sum of squares of digits, which means simply $value >= 0. Any integer $value can occur from all-ones 11..11.
