helios_config_get - get a config parameter's value from the Helios collective database
helios_config_get --service=<service name> [--hostname=<hostname>] --param=<param name> # get the value of the "endpoint_url" param for MyService on the current host helios_config_get --service=MyService --param=endpoint_url # get the global MAX_WORKERS setting for MyService # (-H is a shortcut for --hostname) helios_config_get -s MyService -H=* -p MAX_WORKERS
The helios_config_get command can be used to retrieve configuration parameters for a service from the Helios collective database. This allows Helios configuration parameters to be accessed via shell scripts.
NOTE: Keep in mind config settings you set for your services in helios.ini will only be visible to helios_config_get if it is running on the same host.
