App::lcpan::Cmd::delete_rel - Delete a release record in the database
This document describes version 1.019 of App::lcpan::Cmd::delete_rel (from Perl distribution App-lcpan), released on 2017-06-19.
Usage:
handle_cmd(%args) -> [status, msg, result, meta]
Delete a release record in the database.
Will delete records associated with a release in the database (including in the file table, module, dist, dep, and so on). If --delete-file option is specified, will also remove the file from the local mirror.

But currently will not remove/update the modules/02packages.details.txt.gz index.

This function is not exported.
Arguments ('*' denotes required arguments):
cpan => dirname
Location of your local CPAN mirror, e.g. /path/to/cpan.
Defaults to ~/cpan.

delete_file => bool
Whether to delete the release file from the filesystem too.
index_name => filename (default: "index.db")
Filename of index.
release* => str
Returns an enveloped result (an array).
First element (status) is an integer containing HTTP status code (200 means OK, 4xx caller error, 5xx function error). Second element (msg) is a string containing error message, or 'OK' if status is 200. Third element (result) is optional, the actual result. Fourth element (meta) is called result metadata and is optional, a hash that contains extra information.
