This document describes version 0.04 of Perl::Examples (from Perl distribution Perl-Examples), released on 2016-02-07.

DESCRIPTION

EARLY RELEASE, MORE EXAMPLES TO COME, CONTRIBUTIONS WELCOME.

This distribution, as the name suggests, contains a collection of various examples of Perl modules/scripts. If you happen to need a script/module that:

  • contains some warnings and errors

  • downloads some stuffs from the Internet using {LWP,HTTP::Tiny,...}

  • contains an endless loop

  • creates a circular data structure

  • generates some random text

  • do some busy work for X seconds/minutes

  • demonstrates some Perl features

  • and so on

but don't want to have to write it yourself, then this distribution is for you.
