now falling back to $obj->isa if DOES/does is not implemented on the object, to avoid fatal errors on perls too old to have their own DOES (RT#100866)

Call isa, can, does and DOES safely on things that may not be objects

To install Safe::Isa, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Safe::Isa

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Safe::Isa
