BUG FIXES
- all methods now correctly handle being called via class name in addition to instance reference

- prefixed "_" on private internal method names

- added tests for method calls from the class name in addition to object reference

read operating system details from standard /etc/os-release file

To install Sys::OsRelease, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Sys::OsRelease

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Sys::OsRelease
