The Perl Toolchain Summit needs more sponsors. If your company depends on Perl, please support this very important event.

Changes for version 4.42 - 2009-06-26

  • preliminary and neccesarily incomplete support for IO::Async.
  • reset SIGCHLD to DEFAULT when AnyEvent is loaded, in case it was set to IGNORE, to ensure we can catch child statuses even when the calling env acts stupidly.
  • updated benchmarks with IO::Async, which performs very well.
