likely last 1.x release.
use common sense.
convert to AE API.
convert bin/fastping to AnyEvent::Socket, so Socket6 is no longer required.
enable ipv6 on freebsd, netbsd, openbsd, as it seems they got thier header file horrors sorted out.
enable on cygwin, which lacks netinet/icmp6.h, but otherwise might work (untested).

quickly ping a large number of hosts

To install AnyEvent::FastPing, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm AnyEvent::FastPing

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install AnyEvent::FastPing
