Changes for version 1.010 - 2011-10-19

Fallback to another git wrapper if one fails. Closes rt-71622. Thanks to Matthew (mca1001) for the idea.
Localize $/ to work around Git::Repository bug rt-71621.

Use git-describe to show a repo's version

Run Git::DescribeVersion as one-line script

To install Git::DescribeVersion, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Git::DescribeVersion

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Git::DescribeVersion
