Bio::Tools::Run::Ensembl - A simplified front-end for setting up the registry for, and then using an Ensembl database with the Ensembl Perl API.
This is a simple way of accessing the Ensembl database to retrieve gene information. Rather than learn the whole Ensembl Perl API, you only need to install it (that is, check it out from CVS: http://www.ensembl.org/info/docs/api/api_installation.html...CJFIELDS/BioPerl-Run-1.007003 - 08 Feb 2019 19:55:33 UTC
Bio::Tools::Run::Coil - wrapper for ncoils program
This module is a wrapper for the ncoils program available via <http://www.russell.embl-heidelberg.de/coils/coils.tar.gz> for predicting coiled coils in protein sequences. By default it looks for an executable called *ncoils* and data/parameter files ...CJFIELDS/BioPerl-Run-1.007003 - 08 Feb 2019 19:55:33 UTC

Bio::Homology::InterologWalk - Retrieve, prioritise and visualize putative Protein-Protein Interactions through interolog mapping
A common activity in computational biology is to mine protein-protein interactions from publicly available databases to build *Protein-Protein Interaction* (PPI) datasets. In many instances, however, the number of experimentally obtained annotated PP...GGALLONE/Bio-Homology-InterologWalk-0.58 - 01 Feb 2012 12:31:34 UTC
