rsynccolor - Add some color to rsync output
This document describes version 0.007 of rsynccolor (from Perl distribution App-rsynccolor), released on 2021-07-08.
Use as you would use rsync:
% rsynccolor -Pav --del dir1/ dir2/
To alias rsync to rsynccolor, in your shell startup file:
alias rsync=rsynccolor
This is a wrapper for the GNU command-line utility rsync. It adds some color to rsync output, currently:
deleting FILENAME
will be highlighted in red to be more visually striking.
String. Rsync command to use. Defaults to rsync. Can be used to chain several wrappers together.
rsync
Force setting color off. Takes precedence over COLOR. See https://no-color.org.
COLOR
Force setting color on or off. Default is on when interactive.
