NAME

brandubh - the Irish tafl game, in a terminal

SYNOPSIS

brandubh
brandubh --side defenders --level 3
brandubh --side both --no-colour
brandubh --load saved.txt

DESCRIPTION

Plays brandubh against the program, between two people, or the program against itself. See Game::Brandubh::Terminal for how it is played and Game::Brandubh for the rules.

OPTIONS

--side who

Which side is yours: attackers (the default), defenders, both for two people at one keyboard, or none to watch.

--level n

1, 2 or 3. 2 by default.

--variant text

The rule set, as "as_string" in Game::Brandubh::Variant writes one.

--seed hex

Sixty-four hexadecimal characters. The program draws its choices from them, so the same seed plays the same game.

--load file

Carry on with a game written by the save command.

--no-colour

Draw the board in letters and lines. --no-color is the same.

--no-pick

Type moves instead of choosing them with the arrow keys.

--no-unicode

Letters for the pieces, keeping the colour.

--version, --help

Say so and stop.

EXIT STATUS

0 when the game was left in the ordinary way, 2 when the options were wrong or a file could not be loaded.
