App::ISBNUtils - Command-line utilities related to ISBN
This document describes version 0.003 of App::ISBNUtils (from Perl distribution App-ISBNUtils), released on 2020-04-15.
This distribution contains the following command-line utilities related to ISBN:
format-isbn10
format-isbn13
parse-amazon-book-page
search-isbn-by-title
Usage:
format_isbn10(%args) -> [status, msg, payload, meta]
Format ISBN 10, print error if number is invalid.
You can feed an ISBN 13 and it will be converted to ISBN 10 (as long as the ISBN 13 prefix is 978-).
This function is not exported.
Arguments ('*' denotes required arguments):
isbn10* => isbn10
Returns an enveloped result (an array).
First element (status) is an integer containing HTTP status code (200 means OK, 4xx caller error, 5xx function error). Second element (msg) is a string containing error message, or 'OK' if status is 200. Third element (payload) is optional, the actual result. Fourth element (meta) is called result metadata and is optional, a hash that contains extra information.
Return value: (any)
format_isbn13(%args) -> [status, msg, payload, meta]
