NAME

Paws::IoT::AttributePayload

USAGE

This class represents one of two things:

Arguments in a call to a service

Use the attributes of this class as arguments to methods. You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the calls that expect this type of object.

As an example, if Att1 is expected to be a Paws::IoT::AttributePayload object:

  $service_obj->Method(Att1 => { Attributes => $value, ..., Merge => $value  });

Results returned from an API call

Use accessors for each attribute. If Att1 is expected to be an Paws::IoT::AttributePayload object:

  $result = $service_obj->Method(...);
  $result->Att1->Attributes

DESCRIPTION

The attribute payload.

ATTRIBUTES

Attributes => Paws::IoT::Attributes

A JSON string containing up to three key-value pair in JSON format. For example:

{\"attributes\":{\"string1\":\"string2\"}}

Merge => Bool

Specifies whether the list of attributes provided in the AttributePayload is merged with the attributes stored in the registry, instead of overwriting them.

To remove an attribute, call UpdateThing with an empty attribute value.

The merge attribute is only valid when calling UpdateThing or UpdateThingGroup.

SEE ALSO

This class forms part of Paws, describing an object used in Paws::IoT
