NAME

Paws::OpsWorks::StopInstance - Arguments for method StopInstance on Paws::OpsWorks

DESCRIPTION

This class represents the parameters used for calling the method StopInstance on the AWS OpsWorks service. Use the attributes of this class as arguments to method StopInstance.

You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the call to StopInstance.

SYNOPSIS

    my $opsworks = Paws->service('OpsWorks');
    $opsworks->StopInstance(
      InstanceId => 'MyString',
      Force      => 1,            # OPTIONAL
    );

Values for attributes that are native types (Int, String, Float, etc) can passed as-is (scalar values). Values for complex Types (objects) can be passed as a HashRef. The keys and values of the hashref will be used to instance the underlying object. For the AWS API documentation, see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/goto/WebAPI/opsworks/StopInstance

ATTRIBUTES

Force => Bool

Specifies whether to force an instance to stop. If the instance's root device type is ebs, or EBS-backed, adding the Force parameter to the StopInstances API call disassociates the AWS OpsWorks Stacks instance from EC2, and forces deletion of only the OpsWorks Stacks instance. You must also delete the formerly-associated instance in EC2 after troubleshooting and replacing the AWS OpsWorks Stacks instance with a new one.

REQUIRED InstanceId => Str

The instance ID.
