RT::Extension::HistoryFilter - Filter history by type on ticket display page
This plugin filter the history on the ticket display page by transaction types that are defined in the user preferences. By default it shows only the transaction types create, correspond and comment that are defined in etc/HistoryFilter_Config.pm.
The history page shows always the full history.
It was created after an article in the Best Practical wiki and an discussion in the rt-user mailing list (look at SEE ALSO) and is an extended version of RT::Extension::BriefHistory

May need root permissions
If you are using RT 4.2 or greater, add this line:
Plugin('RT::Extension::HistoryFilter');
For RT 4.0, add this line:
Set(@Plugins, qw(RT::Extension::HistoryFilter));
or add RT::Extension::HistoryFilter to your existing @Plugins line.

This step is required only for RT versions 4.2.3 or older. Versions 4.2.4 and newer have the changes included in the patch.
Apply the patch as follows:
patch -p1 -d /path/to/rt < patches/select-widget-add-multiple.patch
rm -rf /opt/rt4/var/mason_data/obj/*

To install RT::Extension::HistoryFilter, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.
