# NAME

SNA::Network::Node - Node class for SNA::Network

# SYNOPSIS

```
my $node = $net->node_at_index(0);
my @neighbours = $node->related_nodes;
...
...
```

# METHODS

## new

Creates a new node with the given named parameters. Not intended for external use.

## index

Returns the index of the node

## edges

Returns the list of SNA::Network::Edge objects associated with this node.

## related_nodes

Returns the list of SNA::Network::Node objects that are linked to this node in any direction via an edge.

## incoming_edges

Returns the list of SNA::Network::Edge objects that point to this node.

## incoming_nodes

Returns the list of SNA::Network::Node objects that point to this node via an edge.

## outgoing_edges

Returns the list of SNA::Network::Edge objects pointing from this node to other nodes.

## outgoing_nodes

Returns the list of SNA::Network::Node objects that this node points to via an edge.

## in_degree

Returns the in-degree of this node, i.e. the number of incoming edges.

## out_degree

Returns the out-degree of this node, i.e. the number of outgoing edges.

## summed_degree

Returns the summed degree of this node, i.e. the number of associated edges.

## weighted_in_degree

Returns the weighted in-degree of this node, i.e. the sum of all incoming edge weights.

## weighted_out_degree

Returns the weighted out-degree of this node, i.e. the sum of all outgoing edge weights.

## weighted_summed_degree

Returns the summed weighted degree of this node, i.e. the sum of all incoming and all outgoing edgeweights.

## loop

Returns the SNA::Network::Edge object that connects this node with itself, a so-called loop, it such one exitst. Otherwise returns `undef`

.

## community

Returns the index of the community the node belongs to after community identification by SNA::Network::Algorithm::Louvain
