SemanticWeb::Schema::TouristDestination - A tourist destination
VERSION
version v14.0.0
DESCRIPTION
A tourist destination. In principle any SemanticWeb::Schema::Place can be a SemanticWeb::Schema::TouristDestination from a SemanticWeb::Schema::City, Region or SemanticWeb::Schema::Country to an SemanticWeb::Schema::AmusementPark or SemanticWeb::Schema::Hotel. This Type can be used on its own to describe a general SemanticWeb::Schema::TouristDestination, or be used as an [[additionalType]] to add tourist relevant properties to any other SemanticWeb::Schema::Place. A SemanticWeb::Schema::TouristDestination is defined as a SemanticWeb::Schema::Place that contains, or is colocated with, one or more SemanticWeb::Schema::TouristAttractions, often linked by a similar theme or interest to a particular [[touristType]]. The UNWTO defines Destination (main destination of a tourism trip) as the place visited that is central to the decision to take the trip. (See examples below).
