String::Flogger::Patch::UseDataDump - Use Data::Dump to stringify reference
This document describes version 0.01 of String::Flogger::Patch::UseDataDump (from Perl distribution String-Flogger-Patch-UseDataDump), released on 2015-12-31.
% PERL5OPT=-MString::Flogger::Patch::UseDataDump dzil build -v
I use this patch module when debugging building with Dist::Zilla (dzil). By default, dzil uses Log::Dispatchouli which in turn uses String::Flogger which in turn uses JSON to dump references, with all its limitations. This patch improves the dumping by using Data::Dump (actually, currently Data::Dump::SortKeys for better coderef dumping) to see data structures more clearly (objects, coderefs, etc).
