it was stupid to use the redirect mechanism, so I removed it and now simply alter the request.

Perl module to emulate arbitray HTTP methods through POST

To install Apache::MagicPOST, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Apache::MagicPOST

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Apache::MagicPOST
