RT-Extension-AssetSQL - SQL search builder for Assets
RT-Extension-AssetSQL requires version RT 4.4.0 or later. Note that AssetSQL is incompatible with RT 4.2 running RT::Extension::Assets.
This step may require root permissions.
AssetSQL requires a patch for your RT instance. The specific patch to apply depends on which version of RT you're running.
If you're on RT 4.4.0, use rt-4.4.0.patch:
patch -d /opt/rt4 -p1 < patches/rt-4.4.0.patch
If you're on RT 4.4.1, use rt-4.4.1.patch:
patch -d /opt/rt4 -p1 < patches/rt-4.4.1.patch
If you're on RT 4.4.2 or later, use rt-4.4.2-later.patch:
patch -d /opt/rt4 -p1 < patches/rt-4.4.2-later.patch
Add this line:
Plugin( "RT::Extension::AssetSQL" );
If you wish to hide the legacy Asset Simple Search, add the following line as well:
Set($AssetSQL_HideSimpleSearch, 1);
rm -rf /opt/rt4/var/mason_data/obj
Process the $AssetSearchFormat configuration value.
AssetSQL uses the search formats defined via $AssetSearchFormat to format search results. This option accepts one format to use for all assets or a hashref with formats defined per catalog. This function processes the configuration option and returns the appropriate format.
$AssetSearchFormat
For the hashref version, AssetSQL looks only for the key AssetSearchFormat for the default search format. To customize the format of the search results for individual searches, use the Advanced tab in the Query Builder.
AssetSearchFormat
See RT's documentation for $AssetSearchFormat in RT_Config.pm for details on setting the search format.
RT_Config.pm
Returns: string with a search format
