- Matplotlib::Simple loads again under perl 5.18. In 0.332 it could not be loaded there at all, so every test file failed before running a test. The pattern that reads Python's `\N{...}` escape wrote its braces as `\{` and `\}` inside an `s{}{}` substitution, which perl 5.18 warns is a useless escape, and under the module's `warnings FATAL => 'all'` that warning stopped it compiling. The braces are now written `[{]` and `[}]`, which match the same characters without a backslash. A CPAN Testers report against 0.332 from perl 5.18.4 on Debian Linux found it; perl 5.10.1, 5.12.5, 5.16.3, 5.32.1 and 5.44.0 loaded it.
