Speak-1.06

Changes for version 1.06 - 2026-10-09

Added -o|utput <filename> support to speak and say commands to save speech audio to an output file.
Added optional $output_file argument to speak() and say_persona().
Unified say and speak commands by symlinking say to speak.

Convert text to speech using Google's engine and play it on speakers

in lib/Speak.pm

To install Speak, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Speak

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Speak
