Changes for version 0.09003_02

  • Ah, typemaps! I guess I didn't know about it when I first wrote this
  • Add many tests
  • Fix a memory leak under clone()
  • Fix a memory leak under fhmagic()
  • Update function declarations to a more modern style
    • move all functions out of XS section, and make use of automatic linkage by xsubpp
  • Add a memory leak test
    • only runnable when running under author mode
    • set TEST_MEMLEAK=1
    • ignore any leaks that does not directly show a Perl_* namespace.

  • Fix memory corruption (Martin Blapp)
  • Fix rt #28072. Changing $/ doesn't change the return value (Martin Blapp)
  • Fix how SV returned by error() is handled.
