Changes for version 0.000066 - 2026-10-18
- PostgreSQL start() on an already-running server is now a no-op instead of probing it, which could stop a server whose connections were all in use.
- MariaDB, MySQL and Percona start() now returns only once the server accepts connections, not merely once its socket file exists.
- On MSWin32 (Strawberry Perl) the server drivers now report themselves not viable instead of crashing in the watcher and running caller code twice.
- On Cygwin, the PostgreSQL driver now reports itself not viable, naming cygserver, when System V shared memory is unavailable.
- On Cygwin, native Windows database binaries on PATH are now ignored instead of being picked and failing to start.
- MariaDB servers now start on Cygwin, which could not map the default 8T innodb_buffer_pool_size_max.
- The MySQL driver now accepts distribution builds of Oracle MySQL (Ubuntu, Debian, Homebrew), not only builds calling themselves MySQL Community Server.
