Changes for version 0.900004 - 2026-11-08

Tombstones
- Four new tombstones for modules removed from DBIO core without a successor: DBIO::Version, DBIO::Version::Table, DBIO::ResultSourceHandle and DBIO::Schema::Versioned. Each dies on load and says the module was removed. For versioned deployments use DBIO::DeploymentHandler with your driver's DBIO::<Driver>::Deploy class.
- Released above the core release that last shipped these names, the dist takes over their PAUSE index entries; installing one of them fetches the stub, not the superseded core distribution.
- The DBIO::Test::Future tombstone is withdrawn: DBIO core ships that name as a real module. Install or upgrade DBIO after DBIO-Deprecated to get the core module back on disk.
- The dist ships sixteen tombstones in all.
Takeover
- The takeover depends on this dist's release version: the build stamps it into every module and into the META provides block. The $VERSION literal in a tombstone file is a record only.
- The operating rule for adding a tombstone is that this dist's next release version is strictly higher than the core release that last shipped the name; each stub names that release.
Tests
- t/02-version-guard.t fails when a tombstone has no origin release line, or when its origin release is not below the dist version. The origin releases are read from the stubs themselves.
- t/03-no-live-collision.t fails when a tombstone name exists as a real package in another dist of the family.

- DBIO::Deprecated explains the takeover in "HOW THE TAKEOVER WORKS"; the tombstone comments and README follow it.
Packaging
- Every module carries $VERSION in step with the coordinated family release.
- LICENSE holds the text dzil genlicense writes; SECURITY.md is part of the dist.
