Changes for version 0.006 - 2026-10-19
- The test phase requires JSON::MaybeXS 1.004 now. t/30_http.t spells JSON booleans as JSON::MaybeXS::false, which only exists since 1.004000, and with an older one installed the file died at compile time - which was all that kept 0.005 from installing on perl 5.20 (k33)
- t/15_client.t no longer fails on perls before 5.24. Future::AsyncAwait passes a cancel of an async sub's future on to the future it awaits only on 5.24 and later, so there a cancelled request stays pending in the transport; the two checks for that are skipped on older perls, and the documentation says so (k34)
- The test phase declares Mojolicious 9.41. The stdio test server t/bin/test_mcp_server.pl is a Mojo::Base script, and Mojolicious only came along with MCP instead of being required where it is used (k35)
