Changes for version 0.03 - 2026-10-04

  • Add optional request scheme and authority metadata without inference.
  • Define exact HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 ordinary CONNECT mapping by exposing the source :authority bytes as the semantic authority-form target.
  • Keep authority handling deliberately minimal and byte-oriented instead of turning Uniform into a URI parser or protocol validator.
  • Keep is_complete() and is_mutable() as portable adapter capabilities.
  • Add canonical-only freeze(), mark_incomplete(), and mark_complete() helpers for detached Uniform message objects.
  • Freeze all represented message values, including a buffered body, while allowing canonical completeness state to advance independently.
  • Keep message state changes free of parsing, serialization, I/O, event-loop, transaction, stream, or framework response commitment.
  • Simplify the README and public module documentation around normal use, while keeping detailed adapter and contract documents for implementers.
  • Add standard CPAN, CI, license, and Perl badges to the README.
  • Keep repository-only metadata out of the release tarball.
