Changes for version 0.02 - 2026-10-25
- new() accepts a hash reference: HP::Handy->new({ template_dir => ... }). 0.01 warned "Odd number of elements" and ignored the arguments.
- An empty array reference [] and an empty hash reference {} are now false in {% if %}, not, and, or, inline if, and for ... if, as in Jinja2. 0.01 treated them as true.
- <, >, <= and >= compare as strings unless both operands look like numbers, as in Jinja2. 0.01 always compared numerically, so "2026-09-30" < "2026-10-01" was false and warned.
- New test t/0013-jinja2-compat.t. More tests for truth values in t/0004-tags-if.t and for new(\%args) in t/0012-api.t.
