NAME

Paws::EC2::DetachNetworkInterface - Arguments for method DetachNetworkInterface on Paws::EC2

DESCRIPTION

This class represents the parameters used for calling the method DetachNetworkInterface on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud service. Use the attributes of this class as arguments to method DetachNetworkInterface.

You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the call to DetachNetworkInterface.

SYNOPSIS

    my $ec2 = Paws->service('EC2');
    # To detach a network interface from an instance
    # This example detaches the specified network interface from its attached
    # instance.
    $ec2->DetachNetworkInterface( 'AttachmentId' => 'eni-attach-66c4350a' );

Values for attributes that are native types (Int, String, Float, etc) can passed as-is (scalar values). Values for complex Types (objects) can be passed as a HashRef. The keys and values of the hashref will be used to instance the underlying object. For the AWS API documentation, see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/goto/WebAPI/ec2/DetachNetworkInterface

ATTRIBUTES

REQUIRED AttachmentId => Str

The ID of the attachment.

DryRun => Bool

Checks whether you have the required permissions for the action, without actually making the request, and provides an error response. If you have the required permissions, the error response is DryRunOperation. Otherwise, it is UnauthorizedOperation.

Force => Bool

Specifies whether to force a detachment.

  • Use the Force parameter only as a last resort to detach a network interface from a failed instance.

  • If you use the Force parameter to detach a network interface, you might not be able to attach a different network interface to the same index on the instance without first stopping and starting the instance.

  • If you force the detachment of a network interface, the instance metadata (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/ec2-instance-metadata.html) might not get updated. This means that the attributes associated with the detached network interface might still be visible. The instance metadata will get updated when you stop and start the instance.
