The introduction of tail -n broke the handling of files where a line might be written incompletely (e.g. without the final \n). OOps!

Perl extension for reading from continously updated files

To install File::Tail, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm File::Tail

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install File::Tail
