- Enhancements
- autoload_pk: new constructor parameter that sets the column name used as the positional-argument key when AUTOLOAD performs a full join query (i.e. when join_map or filters is active). Defaults to join_column. Previously Database::Join read the primary DA's internal {id} hash slot to infer this value; the new parameter makes the coupling explicit and gives callers full control without relying on DA internals.
- group_by(): explicit unsupported-method stub (croaks with a helpful message directing callers to aggregate()) so that calling the Database::Abstraction::Query fluent chain entry point on a Database::Join object fails fast instead of silently routing through AUTOLOAD to a single component DA.
- Bug Fixes
- The SQLite backend hung, then failed with "database is locked", on a BSD with File::Temp older than 0.2307, as Perl 5.28 ships. Such a File::Temp holds a new file under an exclusive lock. The temporary database is now opened with EXLOCK => 0.
