- Text in a chart's data and in its labels could end the <script> it was written into: a label holding </script> let a data file run script in the reader's browser. All data and text written into a script now has "<" written as \u003c, in the snippets and the full-page charts alike, and one routine does this rather than one copy in each method
- The separator option of the pie charts is now escaped for JavaScript
- The id option of the snippets was written into the page as given. An id that is not letters, digits, _ and -, starting with a letter or _, is now ignored and the method's default used
