- Bug Fixes
- Tests no longer hard-code a "use lib" path to a local Test::Returns checkout. Where that path existed but was unreadable, require() died with "Permission denied" instead of falling back to the installed Test::Returns, so t/domain.t, t/data-flow.t, t/edge_cases.t, t/path.t and t/transaction.t failed to install. Test::Returns is now loaded from @INC like any other dependency.
- t/unit.t: skip the alarm() remaining-time check on MSWin32, where alarm() always returns 0.
- Corrected the documented enable_hot_reload() fork error message to match the one actually thrown ("Failed to fork config watcher: ...").
- Enhancements
- The module now uses autodie. kill() and fork() are exempted where failure is expected or handled locally, so disable_hot_reload() still cleans up if the watcher has already exited.
- Added an AUTHOR section to the POD.
- Packaging
- MIN_PERL_VERSION raised to 5.010: the code uses the // operator.
- Declared runtime dependencies that were missing or listed only as test dependencies: autodie, IPC::System::Simple, List::Util 1.33, File::stat, POSIX, Time::HiRes.
- Declared test dependencies Test::Exception and Test::More; removed ExtUtils::MakeMaker from the runtime prerequisites.
- Test::Memory::Cycle is now a recommended test dependency.
- LICENSE metadata is now gpl_2, matching the POD.
