Changes for version 8.00

Drum-roll... You can now run it within X-Windows! You are required to run the companion viewer called "gfb_viewer.pl". It's still a bit quirky thanks to X-Windows/Wayland's event system, but it works. Run the viewer BEFORE running your script. Use a different console window to run it. Close it normally by closing the opened window when done.
This was such a royal pain and a vast overhaul that it warranted a new version.
Note, you can also install the module in X-Windows/Wayland and it will open a window for testing.

To install Graphics::Framebuffer, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Graphics::Framebuffer

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Graphics::Framebuffer
