Changes for version 1.03 - 2026-06-12

Makefile.PL's i2c presence check can now be bypassed with RPI_DIST_RELEASE=1 so release tarballs can be cut on non-Pi machines; without it the check still exits before WriteMakefile (CPAN testers report NA, not FAIL)

Interface to the MCP23017 GPIO Expander Integrated Circuit over I2C

To install RPi::GPIOExpander::MCP23017, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm RPi::GPIOExpander::MCP23017

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install RPi::GPIOExpander::MCP23017
