DESCRIPTION

The string form of grep and map is awkward and hard to read. Use the block forms instead.

  @matches = grep "/pattern/", @list;        #not ok
  @matches = grep {/pattern/}  @list;        #ok

  @mapped = map "transform($_)", @list;      #not ok
  @mapped = map {transform($_)}  @list;      #ok
