Unless --keepsource is given, the staging directory is removed after a package has been built successfully.
Link to https://metacpan.org/release instead of /module.
Mention cpan2tgz, which I wasn't aware of.

To install CPANPLUS::Dist::Slackware, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm CPANPLUS::Dist::Slackware

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install CPANPLUS::Dist::Slackware
