Changes for version 1.6.0 - 2026-10-09
- add $ option lines for cache_file, pid_dir, and locking
- add -L to disable locking
- add check_timeout, check_timeout_signal, and check_kill_sub_pids options, plus -T, -s, -k, and -K for them
- checks now time out after 30 seconds by default
- checks no longer wait on their output pipes once they exit
