Distributed lock handler for Perl IPC::Locker

Run a command under a global lock

Under Nagios, check the lockerd daemon on the specified host.

Under Nagios, check the pidstat daemon on the specified host.

Check the existence of a process on a remote machine

Determine if process ID is running for Perl IPC::Locker

Run a command and if another PID exits, kill the command

To install IPC::Locker, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm IPC::Locker

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install IPC::Locker
