Use guarded #pragma to suppress clang warnings. The previous implementation spawned a cc command and checked for errors.

Suppress clang delimiter warnings. The warnings ("... tokens introducing statement expression appear in different macro expansion contexts ...") come from deep in Perl, and my research says they are new with clang 12.0.
