NAME

Chart::Timecard - Generate a Timecard chart from a time series

SYNOPSIS

    use Chart::Timecard;

    # $times is an array of DateTime objects
    my $chart = Chart::Timecard->new( times => $times );

    # Get the url of it.
    $chart->url;

DESCRIPTION

Chart::Timecard is a easy helper to generate timecard chart. See http://dustin.github.com/2009/01/11/timecard.html and http://github.com/blog/159-one-more-thing to get the idea of what'a timecard.

ATTRIBUTES

These attributes can be passed to the new constructor

times

An array of DateTime objects.

size "WxH"

An string looks like "500x300". Specified the width and height for the chart. The defalut chart size is 900x300, which is about the largest possible size google charts.

METHODS

new( attr1 => value1, ... )

The object constructor. Optionally takes a list of key-value pairs as the initial values of attributes. Usually you should just say:

    my $chart = Chart::Timecard->new( times => [...], size => "300x150" );

This should be enough.

url()

Return the URL of the chart. Under the hood, it's a Googel Chart URL. Therefore it is limited by what's offered in the Google Chart API. See http://code.google.com/apis/chart/basics.html for more information about Google Chart API.
