The error message thrown upstream, readonly

errorCode

The error code thrown upstream, readonly. Valid values are undef, E_UNAUTH, E_INVLDINPUT or E_MAXAPI. Readonly

On the class, throw a new exception

    );
    ...

On an instance, throw that exception
