SYNOPSIS

In Perl:

use Data::Unixish qw(lduxl);
my @res = lduxl([grep => {callback => sub { $_ % 2 }}], 1, 2, 3, 4, 5);
# => (1, 3, 5)

In command-line:

% echo -e "1\n2\n3\n4\n5" | dux grep '$_ % 2'
1
3
5

FUNCTIONS

grep

Usage:

grep(%args) -> [status, msg, result, meta]

Perl grep.

Filter each item through a callback.

This function is not exported.

Arguments ('*' denotes required arguments):

  • callback* => str|re|code

    The callback code or regexp to use.

  • in => array

    Input stream (e.g. array or filehandle).

  • out => any

    Output stream (e.g. array or filehandle).

Returns an enveloped result (an array).

First element (status) is an integer containing HTTP status code (200 means OK, 4xx caller error, 5xx function error). Second element (msg) is a string containing error message, or 'OK' if status is 200. Third element (result) is optional, the actual result. Fourth element (meta) is called result metadata and is optional, a hash that contains extra information.
