NAME

Term::CLI::L10N::nl - Dutch localizations for Term::CLI

VERSION

version 0.053004

SYNOPSIS

use Term::CLI::L10N;

Term::CLI::L10N->set_language('nl');

say loc("ERROR"); # -> FOUT

say Term::CLI::L10N->quant(1, 'dingen'); # -> 1 ding
say Term::CLI::L10N->quant(1, 'leraren'); # -> 1 leraar

DESCRIPTION

The Term::CLI::L10N::nl module is derived from the Term::CLI::L10N(3p) class to provide Dutch translations for the messages of the Term::CLI(3p) library.

It implements its own numerate method that reverses the meaning of its "form" arguments (because it's easier to derive the singular noun from the plural in Dutch).

It defines its lexicon using Locale::Maketext::Lexicon::Gettext(3p) and the __DATA__ block.

CONSTRUCTORS

Inherits its constructor from Term::CLI::L10N, though it should not be called directly.

METHODS

singularise ( Str )
singularize ( Str )

Take Str as a plural noun and return its singular form.

numerate ( $num, $plural [, $singular] )

Overrides the parent's numerate method, see Locale::Maketext(3p).

Note that the $plural and $singular forms are reversed here, and that there is no $negative (or, if given, it will be ignored).

SEE ALSO
