bandito - a tool for stealing mailman configurations
bandito [opts] <path to a mailman list config db>
By default bandito will use the config file specified in Siesta::Config. However by doing
% bandito -f <path to some file> <path to a mailman list config db>
an alternative can be used instead.
If you're migrating from a none standard Mailman config and the old archive is not in the location that the config thinks it is then you can do this :
% bandito -a <full path to old archive> <path to a mailman list config db>
to specify an alternative archive.
Bandito is a tool for stealing configurations from mailing list managers and importing them into Siesta. At the moment it only does Mailman but will eventually also do Ezmlm and Majordomo and anything else people want.
It handles most thing - including moving your old archives across and setting up the list footers. However it won't be able to handle things like digest members until Siesta gets digests.
